Fees

$150 for the initial intake session (60 minutes)

$120 for each individual therapy session (50 minutes)

I offer a free 20 minute, in person consultation to determine if I am the best counselor for you.


Insurance

I currently accept most CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield plans.

I am an “out of network provider” for other insurance plans. I am happy to provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

I recommend asking the following questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?

  • Do I have out of network coverage for mental health?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?

  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?


Payment and Cancellation Policy

I accept cash, check, and credit card as forms of payment for services.  Checks can be made payable to Clarity Through Counseling, LLC.

Unless there is an unavoidable, unforeseen emergency (i.e. car accident, hospitalization, house fire) you will be charged the full fee for the session if you fail to show or cancel with less than 24 hours notice.  The includes first appointments. You must agree to the cancellation policy if you wish to be a client.
